Rates

Sheet music projects categorized by instrumentation. Prices dependent on level of complexity and are estimates only. Quotes are given through email and I work with all budget levels.  All prices include one customer proof and delivery of final copies of scores and parts in PDF format. Work begins after client and contractor sign contract. For large projects, a 50% deposit will be required upfront.

Engraving

Solo Piano (or any solo instrument)

  • $0.70 per full measure (including all markings)

  • Reductions, multiple voices per measure, etc will raise base rate

Instrumental or Vocal Solo with Piano Accompaniment

  • $15 to $30 per page

Choir Score with Piano Reduction

  • $15 to $30 per page

Chamber Ensembles

  • $15 to $30 per page

  • Part extraction from $0.10 to $0.20 per measure per part

Large Ensembles

  • $0.25 per measure

  • X staves * Y measures = Z (total # of measures)

  • Example

    • 22 staves * 150 measures = 3300

    • 3300 * $0.25 = $825.00

  • Part extraction from $0.10 to $0.20 per measure per part

Transcription

Lead Sheets

  • $15 to $20 per minute of music transcribed

  • Includes simple melodies and countermelodies, dynamics, chord symbols, etc

  • Lyrics included at additional cost

Solo Piano (or Piano Accompaniment only)

  • $20 to $30 per minute of music transcribed

  • Dependent on density/complexity

  • Includes all markings, chord symbols

Instrumental or Vocal Solo with Piano Accompaniment

  • $25 to $40 per minute of music transcribed

  • Dependent on density/complexity

  • Includes all markings, chord symbols, and lyrics

Ensembles or Multiple Voices

  • Starts at $25. Email for quote.
